Rebecca White (Chef/Owner and winner of the Food Network's "Cooks vs Cons" 2016)
Born and raised near New Haven, Connecticut graduated college from Emerson in Boston, Massachusetts. She's had a passion for cooking all of her life and grew up making huge Italian feasts side by side with her family each and every Sunday. Through running her first restaurant in Connecticut, food trucks and pop up locations over the years she's been afforded the time to fine tune her craft. Inspired everyday by her surroundings. It's always exciting to see what she will come up with next!
Rebecca was running several pop up restaurants in Key West. Her travels led her to Rincon, Puerto Rico, where she not only fell in love with the island, the people, and the culture. There she opened the original brick and mortar, Mangia Mi. Mangia MI is the brainchild of Chef Rebecca White, established in 2016.
Our flagship location was in the beautiful Caribbean Surf Town of Rincon, Puerto Rico. Rebecca followed her dream to expand Mangia me to the picturesque town of Calistoga, northern Napa Valley!
Our newest location is being developed in Fairfield County, Connecticut. We cannot wait to share our unique culinary style with you!
